Assessment policy
At International School, assessment is an integral part of all teaching and learning. It is an ongoing process involving teachers, students, parents and administrators.
Assessment enables students to become active participants in their learning and equips them with the skills to become lifelong learners.
We use assessment to gather and analyze information about student performance to identify what students know, understand, can do and feel at different stages in the learning process. The term assessment is used to represent three parts of the assessment process: assessment, recording and reporting.
We use a variety of assessment strategies to provide feedback on the learning process enabling all involved to reflect on progress and set goals for future learning.
